Before she became a licensed clinical mental health worker, the blonde was a Chicago public school teacher. According to one of her colleagues she had a remarkable skill. She could be telling the stupid parents to shut the **** up, and the parents had no idea they were being told to shut the **** up.
It was a really rough neighborhood so I would occasionally go down to these parent/teacher nights just to be sure she was OK walking back and forth to the car. I had the opportunity to witness this a couple of times...she was remarkable.
And when she quit teaching to go into the counseling business I'm sure it was one of the reasons her private practice was so successful.
